Welcome to Bury and Elton Amateur Swimming Club (B&E ASC).

Founded in 1893 we are one of the oldest swimming clubs in the country and we pride ourselves on continuing the great tradition of providing inclusive, challenging and fun swim pathways for all of our members.

Our website contains all of the information you will need to know about B&E ASC including our Code of Conduct, Committee Members, training session times and fees.  We also have a busy Facebook community and regularly post club information via Twitter.  You can find links to all of these platforms below but if you would prefer to speak with us, feel free to approach any of our committee members most of whom attend training sessions throughout each week.

As a swim club, we need younger swimmers to be confident and strong and swim at least 50m in 3 different strokes and older swimmers (high school) at least 100m in 3 strokes.

We normally take swimmers on from 7 years old, as we do not teach swimming, we coach them to become performance swimmers

Following your initial assessment, we will write to you again to confirm the swimming group to which you have been allocated, the frequency of weekly swim sessions and monthly coaching fees.
